This past week hasn’t been very difficult in regards to ISM. Mainly, I’ve just been practicing my speech and listening to other people's speeches. However this week has been a reality check for the expectations of the classroom. This program is held to high levels of expectations and I appreciate that and work diligently in order to live up to those standards. I am thankful for my mentor and the generous time she has devoted to me and my future. Furthermore, I have really been working on the preparation for this upcoming month. February is crazy booked with work, dance, contests, ism, product, and college so I am really needing to stay on top of my game in regards to school work. This weekend and week I have spent preparing for the week ahead by getting my work done as soon as possible, meal prepping, and a lot of practicing my speech. I am very anxious about my speech. For me, it needs to be exactly how I typed it out, however each time I read it, it is different. This is merely an area that ISM is allowing me to grow and work through, to better propel me into my career as an adult.
