This week has been full of praises! In my final product I have found the difficult task of renting a gallery space and I finally got two meetings with Dallas art districts art galleries that offered me there space. Even better than that, one of the spaces were free of charge for rental! However after long consideration and networking, I decided to use the more expensive art gallery because it is absolutely perfect in every way. Through this I have learned professional communication, networking, building and negotiating contracts, and time planning. This experience will do so much for my professional and personal careers. I am really praying and planning for a large crowd and can’t wait for the event. Currently the only difficulty we are working through is finding a clinic that either has enough patients, the supplies, or the time to donate paintings to the event. I have a meeting next with with a representative and hope that it goes beautifully and we can strike a deal with them. Furthermore, I have started the website, social media, etc to plan but I haven’t engaged in them yet since no everything is finalized yet. This is a task that for sure keeps me busy and on my toes, I am working very hard to make sure I can execute this in a professional and experienced manor.
