Now that it is the second six-weeks, ISM work has really started to kick in, not only ISM work but my other classes work. However I think that because of the time management lessons I learned my first week in the class, I am prepared and ahead of assignments which will be beneficial in the long run when work builds up more. Furthermore, I have gone on more interviews, particularly with dietitians of different areas of expertise. This has been amazing because I really have gotten a feel for what I think I will enjoy the most. Through these varieties of interviews, I have grown to love the private practice environment much more than the hospital settings.

In addition, I attended the Business Symposium, which was amazing to interview with different professionals and gain that valuable feedback and interactions. Being able to network is an important part of trying to do anything, which makes being an RD better because they are all super willing to help up and coming interns or students. I feel more than blessed.

Lastly, I have submitted and started my Original Work, which is very ambitious but extremely exciting and I am very proud of my idea and can’t wait to see how well I can execute it.
