Blog-November 5, 2018

This week has been surprisingly great. It has been a transition into the next six weeks at school, and the ISM agenda is mainly centered around Original work which I have properly prepared, which has gotten me ahead. In addition, I got a mentor. Her name is Casey Bonano, and I am very excited to start my journey with her. She is full of knowledge, experience, kindness, and personability. Now that my original work is set, mentor visit is made, and things are falling into place I am beginning to really enjoy this ISM journey, however this also allows for laziness and lack of focus because I don’t realize all the extra knowledge I can gain, as well as, the other things I can get ahead on. Furthermore, I have begun working on my second speech of the year. I don’t like public speaking. I would prefer to stand in the back and listen all day long rather than endure an 8-10 minute speech in front of 20 people. On the other hand, I am thankful for the opportunity to grow in this aspect of professionalism. It is a work in progress, and I am excited to hear and see what I can bring to the table.
